Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 16, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how [FuelExpress LLC — confirm exact legal entity name and state of formation before publishing] ("FuelExpress," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use the FuelExpress apps and website (the "Service"). It applies to customers, prospective customers, and drivers.
1. Information we collect
Account information: name, email address, phone number, and a password (stored as a secure hash — we never store your password in plain text).
Vehicle information: make, model, year, color, fuel type, license plate, and whether the fuel door locks, so drivers can locate and safely fuel your vehicle.
Delivery location information: the address and precise coordinates (latitude and longitude) you provide for a delivery, and any access notes you add (e.g. gate codes, parking instructions).
Payment information: our payment processor, Stripe, collects and stores your card details directly. FuelExpress receives only a tokenized reference to your payment method, along with limited details such as card brand, last four digits, and billing zip code. We never receive or store your full card number or security code.
Order and membership history: orders placed, fuel quantities requested and delivered, fees charged, and membership plan and billing history.
Driver location data: if you use the FuelExpress driver app, we collect your device's location while you are online and while an active delivery route is in progress, so we can dispatch orders, calculate routes, and show customers accurate delivery tracking. On iOS this may include location collection when the app is not in the foreground during an active route; on Android this is collected via a foreground service with a persistent notification while a route is active. We do not collect driver location when you are offline.
Device and usage information: app version, device type, and general diagnostic and usage information to help us maintain and improve the Service.
